Even though Carissa called this a reckneck wedding it could not  have been more stylish! With the help of both of their families the wedding took place at her Parents home outside Dripping Springs- they used an old corral for the ceremony site- (it was decorated with hay bales and family quilts, curtains tied with hydrangeas and paper cones filled with baby's breath) and Carissa's Dad Joe made all the custom furniture, picnic tables, and wagon wheel candelabras for the ceremony site. He also retro fitted old stoves outside for heaters in the evening when the weather turned cooler. Frankie's parents had the custom bar  made.
The Bride and Groom both wore custom cowboy boots and asked that their guests dress country. The details were amazing including  having the  grooms cake match the leather pattern on his boots!
Her other "redneck details" included a deer head garter, camo beer koozies and a monster truck "hay ride" to make her grand entrance. I loved that the flower girls carried baby chicks and the ring bearer had a burlap sign that said " Frankie- Here comes your girl"!
The meal was Texas BBQ, frozen margaritas  and  guests danced on a corn meal dusted dance floor.
For their exit her Mom Diana made little packets of grass seed to throw at the bride and groom. A very smart idea!
Frankie & Carissa received the pickup truck as a gift and used it for their honeymoon at the Texas Coast.
Cheers to Redneck Texas Weddings!
